Catch up now on our FREE event: Get the Glow – Mastering Your Skin + Hair Through The Menopause Transition

This event has finished

If you missed our free event on Tuesday 'Get the Glow - Mastering Your Skin and Hair Through the Menopause Transition' or if you want to watch it again, fear not, you can catch it here.

We had a fantastic and enlightening session with Harley Street dermatologist and skincare guru Dr Sam Bunting and her brilliant associates, Dr Emma Wedgeworth and Dr Rishika Sinha. With an international audience from Nottingham to Knaresborough, Dublin to Donegal and Melbourne to Ljubljana, the questions for the doctors came thick and fast!

We discussed:

  • Lifestyle factors that can help and hinder getting our glow
  • The impact of the menopause transition on our skin and hair, from peri- to postmenopause
  • The most common skin and hair concerns women may experience during this stage
  • The relationship between menopause and conditions like acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation, and how they can be managed with the right skincare regime (rosacea seems to be a problem for many women so tune in to hear our experts’ top tips)
  • The importance of sunscreen during menopause (hint: it’s really important!), and the additional skincare precautions women should take to protect their skin from aging and damage (retinoids, azelaic acid anyone?!)
  • Finding your perfect skincare routine and the ingredients that really do make a difference
  • Stay tuned to the end to hear the doctors respond to all the many questions we received

Thank you Dr Sam, Dr Emma and Dr Rishika, and thank you to our wonderful audience for their brilliant questions. We’ve also pasted the links that were shared in the chat below.
