Dr Tonye is an experienced Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Community Gynaecology and has been a BMS-recognised menopause specialist for almost 10 years. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in September 2016. She also holds the Faculty of Sexual Reproductive Health (FSRH) Advanced Menopause Certificate and is also the FSRH Menopause Guardian involved in the curriculum, logbook and training in menopause care basic and advanced certificate. A true advocate of women’s health and the menopause, she regularly facilitates and delivers sessions on contraception and menopause and has authored publications and delivered presentations regionally and nationally.
Eleanor has a master’s degree in physiotherapy and has worked in medical devices since 2007. She founded Pelvic Relief in 2013 bringing together and manufacturing a range of products and supplements for pelvic health to manage conditions such as painful sex, incontinence and pelvic pain.
Eleanor has previously worked for The YES YES Company, manufacturers of organic lubricants and vaginal moisturisers.
She regularly attends medical conferences including British Society of Sexual Medicine and The British Menopause Society's Annual Conferences.
Helen co-founded My Menopause Centre with her good friend, Dr Clare Spencer, a menopause specialist and GP, to empower women to take control of their menopause and thrive with evidence-based knowledge and advice from menopause experts.
She has held Chief Marketing Officer roles with Boots, the BBC, DFS and Countrywide. A women’s wellbeing champion. Helen is on a mission to raise awareness of the menopause and help empower women with the knowledge they need to embrace this new chapter and thrive. Helen is particularly passionate about supporting women in the workplace and helping employers understand the benefits of having a positive menopause policy.
